Melbourne Private School Bus Services

Panorama Coaches operate 4 Melbourne Private School Bus Services.  These services operate from:

Doreen, Laurimar, Mernda, South Morang, Bundoora, Darebin, Heidelberg, Alphington, Kew, Diamond Creek, Greensborough, Montmorency, Lower Plenty, Viewbank, Rosanna, Eaglemont, Ivanhoe East, Kangaroo Ground, Research, Eltham, Templestowe, Balwyn, Reservoir, Preston, Thornbury, Northcote, Brunswick East, Fitzroy North, Clifton Hill.

We now operate four upgraded school bus runs to selected Melbourne Private Schools from the North & North Eastern Suburbs. For your child’s security and convenience why not consider using one of these exclusive services?

To check if the service will be suitable for you:

1. Select the service that runs through your suburb (see map on Page 2 of Application Form)
2. From the Timetable for that service (shown below) select the stop that is closest to your home
3. If that service does not run directly to your school, check the Interchange Timetable for the connecting service to your child’s school
4. Check the pick-up time at your selected stop, and please ensure that your child can be there 5 minutes before departure
5. Ensure your child is aware of the connecting bus they will need to change onto at Sackville St in the morning to get to school (see Interchange Timetable)
6. Ensure your child is aware of the connecting bus they will need to change onto in the afternoon from Carey to get home (see Interchange Timetable)

Connecting services can be found on the Interchange Information link on this page.  The Interchange point is where all 4 bus services meet at Sackville St at 7.40am and the students change buses in order to get their respective bus to travel to school.  The same applies in the afternoon when the buses meet outside Carey in Barkers Rd at 4.00pm where the students change buses in order to get their respective bus to travel home.

When you are ready to book:

1. Email a completed application form to bookings@panoramacoaches.com.au, or phone our friendly reservations staff for further information on (03) 9438 3666 (option 1)
2. Keep watch for a Welcome Email from BusMinder with instructions on how to download the BusMinder App. (Check your Junk mail folder) Instructions can also be found here.
3. Once Downloaded, Log In to the App using the email provided and select ‘forgot password’, you will then receive an email to allow you to set your own password.
4. Once logged in to the App, you need to add a payment method (Debit/Credit Card or PayPal) – you only need to do this once
5. If you are purchasing a Term Pass you do not need to make any bookings – these will already be in place for your child
6. To purchase a Term Pass select Students, then tap your Child’s name, then you will see the option to “Puchase Term Pass”, click on that and then select the $ amount for the pass you wish to purchase.
7. Your child will be issued a BusMinder card, which they need to use to tap on and off the service each trip.  Notifications will be sent to you through the App when this occurs.
8. You will need to purchase a Term Pass at the commencement of each Term that you wish your child to use the service.

Casual passes are available, please call/email for more information.  Casual travel is only possible if there are seats available on the service selected.

Term 1 – Wednesday 29th January to Friday 4th April

Term 2 – Tuesday 22nd April to Friday 27th June

Term 3 – Monday 21st July to Friday 19th September

Term 4 – Monday 6th October to Tuesday 9th December (no service Monday 3rd November)
